JavaScript with malicious intent

JavaScript with malicious intent mostly exists on websites, but can also be spread through e-mail messages f.e.
Mostly the javaScript application is being processed by the users' browser, but some can also use the windows environment alone.
Very often a user is tricked into clicking on a link or download of which he believes it comes from a trusted source. Sometimes a website or pop-up screen sends a warning that the device needs a virusscan or needs cleaning up, a trusted source does not trick the user to download something while displaying it like something totally different.
When there's any reason to doubt something, just do not click the link or the OK-button (sometimes even the small cross in the top-corner does something else than you may expect).
